Whistler Modular Pedicle Screw
The Whistler Modular Pedicle Screw System features a versatile modular tulip, enabling screw insertion before attaching the tulip. This design enhances in-situ visualization and offers the flexibility to choose among three tulip options—Low-top, Reduction-top, or Minimally Invasive-top—after screw placement. Screws are available in solid, cannulated, and HA-coated options.
Key Features
- A double lead thread provides rapid insertion and secure anchorage in cortical and cancellous bone.
- Shanks are offered in both solid and cannulated versions to facilitate MIS surgical techniques
- Low top, Reduction, and MIS tulips
- Hydroxyapatite (HA) coated screws are offered to improve pullout strength in weakened bone
- 5.5 and 6.0mm rods and tulips & 70° cone of angulation
